About Us – Catholic Gifts Galore
A “cradle Catholic” and “convert” teamed together to create Catholic Gifts Galore as part of our own journeys of faith. With a Faith rich in blessings, prayers, and traditions, each of us, as founders of Catholic Gifts Galore, offer our own unique perspective in discovering (and rediscovering) all that is Catholic. What a glorious gift the Holy Spirit has given us: our Faith!
Practicing our faith became more than “believing in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth” and, in a small way, as retailers of a secular store, it seems liked a wonderful way to glorify God and enrich our own lives by selling “religious articles” such as the kind found at shrines, Catholic Gift Shops, and even after Sunday Mass outside of the Catholic Churches across the country. Along the way, we are finding our own faiths are growing through new prayers we find that might have remained undiscovered if not for Catholic Gifts Galore. What a glorious way to share our Faith with others and grow in Faith ourselves by creating Catholic Gifts Galore! We are indeed most richly blessed!
Ironically, the creation of Catholic Gifts Galore came during one of the worst economic challenges our own secular store faced. With overhead, employee salaries, bills needing to be paid, taxes, etc., we often found ourselves crying “Abba Father” into a darkness that left us feeling alone and abandoned. We were humbled by the small miracles which surrounded us and gave us solace. The cry of the day often became: “There are no accidents!” and “It’s a miracle!” and, in our despair, our Faith grew and therefore, our riches in heaven. Our riches on earth aren’t quite so glorious but God does indeed provide! We have learned to “Let Go and Let God” as the expression says!
As we grow Catholic Gifts Galore, we ask you to join in praying that this site truly will glorify our Lord Jesus Christ and his Catholic Church. We ask your humble prayers to assist us in knowing what our heavenly Father asks of us and help us to do His will willingly. Let this small expression of faith grow in the way the Lord calls us… and let us answer his call with “Yes” and not “Wait a minute” which often rings on our lips!
Thank you for visiting our site and helping to spread the word of the Catholic Church through the gifts and prayers! - Josie and Shannon
